The parish of South Lafford is set amid the rolling countryside of south Lincolnshire in the UK lying 13miles east of Grantham and 6 miles south of Sleaford. The parish is part of the Anglican Diocese of Lincoln, but spiritual home to Christians of all denominations.

 

 The parish incorporates the communities of Aswarby Aunsby Crofton Dembleby Folkingham Haceby Laughton Newton Osbournby Pickworth Scott Willoughby Spanby Swarby Threekingham & Walcot.

 

The parish is fortunate in having 12 churches of fine quality and each has its own character and story. A number of the churches are open during daylight hours and with notice we can accommodate anyone wishing to see the locked churches. Examples of craftsmanship range from medieval pew ends to 13th century wall paintings as well as many early examples of fine stone carvings.

 

The worship is based on the new Common Worship and the Book of Common Prayer. There are also family services held at two of the churches once a month. The parish is committed to ecumenism and is part of Churches Together in Lincolnshire. The parish has an inclusive approach to Christian fellowship and a desire to meet the challenges of Christian living in the 21st century with prayer and imagination.
